CAGE FABRICATION / CONNECTION DETAILS

See how the cage
comes together.

A closer look at two assembly methods. The connection method follows the approved project drawings and fabrication requirements.

01 / WIRE-TIED

Wire-tied intersections

Binding wire wraps around the crossing bars, with the twisted tie visible at each joint. This view highlights the wire loops and solid steel bar ends.

02 / AUTOMATED MACHINE WELDING

Machine-welded intersections

An automatic resistance-welding head joins the transverse reinforcement to the longitudinal bars. The machine actuator, copper contacts and cage fixture make the automated process visible.

Welded fabrication requires suitable weldable steel, an approved welding procedure and project acceptance. These are process illustrations, not photographs of a specific installed machine.

HOW A PROJECT TAKES SHAPE

A considered process.
A project-specific quotation.

Dimensions, quantities, shapes and programme all affect the scope. We study these before confirming a price.

  1. 01

    Share the brief

Tell us about the project. Drawings and BBS files are welcome, but not required to start.

  2. 02

    Review & estimate

Review specifications, sizes, quantities and fabrication requirements.

  3. 03

    Agree the scope

Confirm the quotation, technical scope and delivery plan together.

  4. 04

    Fabricate & coordinate

Plan production and coordinate supply against the agreed requirements.
